Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior civil planning engineer with 9+ years of experience to lead baseline schedule development for luxury villa developments, high-rise buildings and infrastructure.

You will coordinate with civil, structural, MEP and procurement teams using Primavera P6 to produce integrated master schedules. Responsibilities include progress monitoring, critical path and float analysis, resource loading, and EOT/delay analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (attested with equivalency MOFA).
• 9+ years planning experience in civil construction projects.
• PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or PMP certification; Master’s in Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive baseline construction schedules using Primavera P6 across civil, structural, MEP, architectural and procurement WBS.
• Perform CPM and total float analyses; identify bottlenecks and mitigation plans.
• Lead progress monitoring, update programs and executive reporting.
• Coordinate look-ahead programs and integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule.
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare EOT-related documentation.

Job description

• Baseline Schedule Development
• Develop comprehensive baseline construction schedules Primavera P6 incorporating civil structural MEP architectural and procurement WBS
• Progress Monitoring Updating
• Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates measuring actual physical progress against approved baseline milestones
• Critical Path Float Analysis
• Conduct rigorous Critical Path Method CPM and total float analysis identifying critical bottlenecks and formulating mitigation plans
• Resource Cost Loading
• Model resource histograms manpower plant and cash-flow S-curves to align scheduling with commercial commitments
• Delay Analysis EOT Claims
• Perform forensic delay analysis using industry-recognized methodologies Time Impact Analysis As-Built vs As-Planned to substantiate contractual Extension of Time EOT claims
• Subcontractor Schedule Integration
• Review and integrate specialized subcontractor programs into the main project master schedule
• Executive Management Reporting
• Prepare comprehensive monthly project progress reports milestone dashboards and executive presentations for management and clients
• Look-Ahead Program Coordination
• Coordinate 3-week and 6-week rolling look-ahead programs with construction managers and project engineers

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (attested with equivalency & MOFA); 9+ years planning experience.

Preferred Qualifications: PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification or PMP; Master’s in Construction Management.

Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License.

Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 9–13 years in civil construction planning with Tier-1 main contractors in UAE/GCC delivering luxury villa developments, gated communities, high-rise buildings, and infrastructure.
