Senior Planning Engineer Job Location Dubai United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage the master construction schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project Develop detailed work breakdown structures WBS resource histograms and progress Scurves Lead planning efforts for all aspects of port construction or highscale infrastructure projects including marine piling quay walls dredging jetties breakwaters roads railways or metro systems Perform Critical Path Method CPM analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation plans Monitor project progress generate lookahead schedules and provide accurate forecasting Manage resource planning optimization and coordination across departments and subcontractors Prepare and present progress reports delay analysis recovery plans and extension of time EOT claims Liaise with clients consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project milestones Ensure compliance with environmental safety and port authority regulations Supervise and mentor junior planning staff and ensure quality of planning deliverables Qualifications Skills Bachelors Degree B Tech B E in Civil Engineering mandatory Additional certifications such as Primavera P6 PMP or equivalent are preferred 10 to 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling either marine infrastructure or largescale civil projects e g roads railways metro or port construction Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 MS Project Excel and planning best practices Strong leadership coordination and decisionmaking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple planning functions under pressure
