Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control detailed schedules across the full project lifecycle for large-scale EPC projects in energy, marine, and civil infrastructure.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and proactive risk mitigation, while mentoring junior planners and driving best practices in project controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling within EPC environments.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Expertise in project controls, critical path analysis, resource management, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Perform critical path analysis, earned value analysis (EVA), and schedule forecasting
• Identify schedule risks and support the development of mitigation strategies
• Coordinate resources to optimize productivity and minimize delays
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule and performance reports for management and stakeholders
• Review subcontractor and vendor schedules for alignment with project timelines
• Mentor and support junior planning engineers, sharing best practices in project controls

YOUR ROLE

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Expertise: Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path analysis, resource management, and risk management. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
