Job summary

ASGC seeks a Senior Planning Engineer – Civil in Abu Dhabi to lead planning for mega civil, high-rise and major building projects. You will develop baselines, drive recovery programmes, manage EOT claims and delay analysis, and oversee resource planning, KPI reporting, and cash-flow forecasts.

Deep expertise in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling is essential. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 15 years in planning, including 5+ years in Abu Dhabi with a major main contractor, and proven leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant planning experience.
• At least 5 years of planning experience in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong track record in mega civil, high-rise and complex building projects.
• Experience with a major main contractor is mandatory.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, delay analysis, and claims management.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Excel; excellent leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Job description

The successful candidate will lead project planning and scheduling activities, including the development and management of baseline, recovery, mitigation, and revised programmes. The role will also cover EOT claims, delay analysis, resource planning, progress monitoring, KPI reporting, cash-flow forecasting, subcontractor programme integration, and schedule recovery strategies.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 15 years of relevant planning experience, including at least 5 years of proven experience in Abu Dhabi.

A strong track record in large-scale civil, high-rise, and complex building projects is essential, and previous experience with a major main contractor is mandatory.

Strong technical expertise in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, delay analysis, claims management, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel is required, together with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
