Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced scheduling tools, ensuring timely project delivery and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths for optimal efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential delays and budget overruns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and report on schedule performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Lead regular project meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and adjust timelines as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for project plans, including progress reports, change orders, and schedule updates.
- Facilitate communication between various teams, ensuring all parties are informed of schedule changes and project developments.
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to assess project performance and forecast future trends and outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling within large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights for project improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey project updates to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and budget constraints.
