Job summary

KBR is recruiting a Senior Planning Engineer for an offshore FEED project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and tracking schedules, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and ensuring project milestones and critical paths are managed.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in oil & gas planning, strong CPM and risk analysis skills, and experience with ADNOC or offshore PMC environments. This position is based in Abu Dhabi client offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• PM certification (PMP/Prince2) is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and knowledge of FEED/EPC lifecycles.
• Knowledge of engineering deliverables and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FEED project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Establish Work Breakdown Structure aligned with project scope and deliverables.
• Define milestones, critical paths, and key deliverable timelines.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, and interface activities into the master schedule.
• Monitor progress against baselines and perform critical path analysis to identify delays and risks.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project controls, Procurement, and HSE teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with SPI, milestones, risks; support look-ahead planning.

The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client Office in Abu Dhabi**Job Purpose****The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring the project schedule during the FEED phase of offshore oil & gas projects.
