Job summary

A leading construction company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to manage project schedules and lead planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 8-10 years of planning experience, particularly in infrastructure projects. This role requires strong skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, and excellent communication and analytical abilities. Job description

• Develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather inputs and align plans
• Perform critical path analysis and identify potential project risks or delays
• Generate and present weekly/monthly project progress reports to management and stakeholders
• Create resource and cost-loaded schedules and monitor performance through Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Analyze schedule impacts, delays, and support EOT claims as necessary
• Maintain baseline programs and perform schedule revisions and recovery planning
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors for all planning-related matters.
• We need candidates who is only available in UAE and possible location will be in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of project planning experience, including 3–4 years in a senior-level role
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
• Good knowledge of planning concepts, methodologies, and reporting systems
• Experience in preparing delay analysis, EOT claims, and cash flow forecasts
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, or industrial project environments
