Durucooperation in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi region, seeks a Senior Piping QC Engineer to oversee quality across piping fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning on site. You will ensure conformance with drawings, standards, ITPs, and procedures while coordinating with construction, inspection agencies, and client teams.

We are looking for a Senior Piping QC Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of piping fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities at site. The role will ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes/standards, ITPs, and quality procedures while coordinating with construction, engineering, inspection agencies, and client teams.
Monitor and control quality activities for piping fabrication and site installation.
Inspect piping materials, fit-up, welding, supports, erection, and installation.
Review approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and quality procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Coordinate and witness inspections, NDT, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, and other required tests.
Verify welding documentation, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and weld traceability.
Raise, track, and close NCRs, observations, punch points, and quality-related issues.
Maintain inspection reports, test records, quality dossiers, and other QC documentation.
Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors and third-party inspection agencies.
Conduct quality surveillance and support internal/client audits.
Ensure timely completion of inspection activities and final documentation for handover.
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Relevant experience in piping quality control/inspection, preferably in EPC, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, welding, inspection, and testing.
Hands-on knowledge of applicable piping codes, standards, specifications, and ITP requirements.
Experience with WPS/PQR, welder qualification, NDT, hydrotesting, and quality documentation.
Ability to work independently at a project/site location and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
