Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi seeks a Specialist Piping Engineer to support a major upstream Oil & Gas project. The role provides specialist piping engineering, reviews EPC deliverables and ensures compliance with ADNOC standards and ASME B31.3.

The successful candidate will oversee P&IDs, layouts and 3D models, coordinate across disciplines, and participate in HAZOP/HAZID reviews while guiding project piping design through FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of oil & gas piping engineering experience.
• Experience with ADNOC standards preferred.
• PMC/Owner’s Engineer background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review piping deliverables including P&IDs, layouts, isometrics.
• Provide guidance on piping design, routing and interfaces.
• Review EPC contractor deliverables and design changes.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC, ASME B31.3, and project specs.
• Coordinate across disciplines to resolve interfaces.
• Participate in 3D model reviews and HAZOP/HAZID.
• Support FEED, detailed eng, procurement, construction and commissioning as needed.
