Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Dubai is looking for a Senior Piping Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The role involves providing technical guidance, assisting the Lead PVV Engineer, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Candidates must have expertise in international piping codes and relevant software. This position is residential for a duration of 24 months, starting September 2025.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in oil & gas projects required.
• Expertise in oil & gas piping and valves materials.
• Knowledge of international piping and valves codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to the Lead PVV Engineer.
• Provide technical guidance to meet tender specifications.
• Support in Piping Engineering throughout project phases.

Skills

Expertise in PVV in oil & gas

Piping software skills (PDMS/E3D, Caesar)

Stress calculation expertise

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer with the following details :

Location : UAE

Work Status : Residential

Duration : 24 months, subject for extension

Start date : Sep 2025

Qualifications / Experience required

• 10+ years of experience minimum is required.
• Advanced expertise is required:
• In PVV in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields.
• in project at all life-cycle stages of project development (FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering, etc)
• Oil & Gas Piping and Valves Materials, Design, Manufacturing and Testing according to industry standards and TotalEnergies specifications
• International Piping & Valves codes (i.e, ASME B31, B16, ASME VIII, ASTM, API, ANSI etc)
• in Piping software & Piping vibration assessment (like PDMS/E3D, Caesar, etc)
• Expertise in stress calculation and preparation of report.
• in Sour Gas Service design.
• Provide necessary technical guidance to ensure compliance with tender specifications / data sheets and formulation of spec compliant bid proposal.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Standard expertise is required in:

1. Fabrication,
2. NLG design.
3. SRU Design

• The service will be performed in English.

• During all phases of the Project:
• The job holder assists and reports to the Lead PVV Engineer.
• The job holder is entitled to comply with rules and requirements of Project.
• The job holder brings support in Piping Engineering
• The job holder may have to liaise, as requested, with Iraq affiliate Engineering Dpt. and Headquarter
• The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties.
• The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
