Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for a banking client in Dubai. You will design, develop, and execute performance, load, and API tests for web, mobile, and services, ensuring scalability and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of hands-on testing in banking/FinTech, strong hands-on with JMeter or similar, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools. You will collaborate with Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, DevOps and Business teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
3–7 years of hands-on Performance Testing & Engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and PTLC.
Hands-on with tools: Apache JMeter (preferred), LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Gatling.
Experience with API performance testing (REST & SOAP).
Knowledge of application servers, databases, middleware, and distributed systems.
Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus.
SQL query and database performance validation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Agile/Scrum methodology understanding.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test plans for web, mobile, and API-based apps.
Conduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike, and volume testing.
Validate API performance for REST/SOAP services.
Monitor applications, databases, middleware, and infrastructure during tests.
Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with teams to optimize performance.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Support production readiness activities.
