Job summary

D4 Insight in Dubai seeks a seasoned Performance Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking applications, APIs, and microservices, validating non-functional requirements under peak load.

You will use JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling, analyze bottlenecks across UI, API gateway, databases, and infrastructure, and prepare executive summaries for release approvals. Immediate joining on a 12‑month contract.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of performance engineering and non-functional testing.
• Strong expertise in performance, load, stress, endurance and capacity testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, mobile and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking, mobile, API, and microservices applications.
• Define and validate NFRs covering response time, throughput, scalability, concurrency, and resilience.
• Develop performance scripts and workloads using JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or equivalent tools.
• Execute load, stress, spike, endurance, failover, and capacity testing.
• Analyze bottlenecks across UI, API Gateway, microservices, middleware, databases, and infrastructure.
• Use observability and APM tools to identify root causes of performance degradation.
• Prepare performance reports, recommendations, and executive summaries for release approvals.

Role Overview:

We are looking for Performance Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking applications, mobile and internet banking, APIs, and microservices. The role focuses on validating Non-Functional Requirements under peak-load conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking, mobile, API, and microservices applications.
