What you'll be doing

As an experienced Senior People Partner, you will be responsible for helping attract, develop and support an exceptional group of people. You will be working closely with the brand/functional management team to provide: operational HR support, strategic advice, guidance and best practice solutions. You will do so inline with Group HR policies and principles, whilst also creating bespoke initiatives to enhance the employee experience and support the achievement of business strategies and culture change. This is a role that combines operational and strategic responsibilities, requiring a solid HR background in addition to sound commercial exposure and mindset to successfully partner with and influence all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to define, develop and implement the Level Shoes people strategy in line with the brand vision globally.
  • Lead the talent development, management, and succession planning across all functions in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize and implement innovative talent engagement activities to drive the continuous high performing culture of the Level Shoes team.
  • Be an active and effective member of the leadership team, providing strategic, creative, and proactive solutions to people business solutions.
  • Act as a change agent, looking for creative ways to elevate the employee experience in line with our employee value proposition on a global scale.
  • Stay ahead of global competitor and industry trends across retail, ecommerce, tech, and logistics to continuously provide people advice that provides competitive advantages.
  • Lead the design and execution of employee onboarding, recognition initiatives, and other culture activities.
  • Drive the workforce planning, budgeting, performance management and salary review cycles in partnership with group HR and Level business partners.
  • Co-design organization development and effectiveness strategies to continuously align OD to evolving business diversification, growth, and expansion plans.
  • Partner with Group Talent Acquisition to ensure best in class talent attraction, hiring, and retention in both GCC and US markets; ensuring a clear acquisition strategy in line with Level Shoes culture and its values.
  • Lead the diversity & inclusion for the brand, ensuring equitable representation and fairness across all levels and departments.
  • Partner with Group HR Operations for any grievances, ethics cases and low performance cases.
  • Lead the Voice of the People agenda, ensuring continuous improvement across all departments to create an aligned culture across all leaders, businesses, and sub-functions.
  • Manage people related internal communications to establish continuous transparency to all team functions and levels on brand direction, strategies, and activities.
  • Coach people leaders on an ongoing basis to expand their people management abilities and drive an effective 2-way feedback culture.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, with a strong focus on the e-commerce sector.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
