Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology, or Pediatric Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post‑specialization experience in a high‑volume cardiac center.
• Expertise in managing complex congenital heart disease and post‑operative cardiac ICU care.
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant licensure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for pediatric cardiac patients, including pre‑operative stabilization and post‑operative care.
• Lead daily PCICU rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans.
• Interpret complex diagnostic data including echocardiography and hemodynamic studies.
• Provide on‑call coverage for pediatric cardiac emergencies.
• Contribute to strategic development and expansion of the PCICU service.
• Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and nursing staff.
• Communicate complex clinical information clearly to families.
• Engage in clinical research, audits, and CME activities.
