Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East invites a Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to lead high-level critical care in a Dubai PCICU. You will oversee neonates, infants and children with congenital or acquired heart disease, including ECMO-supported cases and complex perioperative care.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years post-specialization, fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, and board certification in relevant pediatric subspecialties.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution with UAE-eligible licensing.
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care and/or Pediatric Cardiology or Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care with 8–10 years post-specialization experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level critical care for neonates, infants and children with complex cardiac disease.
• Lead pre- and post-operative management and interventional cardiology care.
• Manage ECMO and mechanical ventilation according to protocols.
• Coordinate care with cardiology, surgery, anesthesia and nursing teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds and develop individualized care plans.
• Supervise junior physicians and participate in teaching.
