Senior Pastry Chef - El-Ain

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Chef to join our team in El-Ain. As a Senior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, including the creation and execution of menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring high quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop new pastry menu items that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences
• Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries, desserts, and breads
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are on hand at all times
• Order necessary ingredients and supplies from reputable vendors while staying within budget constraints
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs in techniques, recipes, and plating presentations
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the pastry department
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
• Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, plating, etc.
• Ability to create unique flavor combinations while utilizing seasonal ingredients
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
