What You Will Do :
Assist in the preparation and presentation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Follow recipes and plating guidelines provided by the Head Pastry Chef
Ensure proper mise en place for each service period
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station at all times
Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in accordance with HACCP
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Flexibly incorporate Japanese ingredients or elements into pastry creations as needed
Receive and properly store deliveries; monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages
Confirm shortages with head pastry chef and proceed with ordering
Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills
Maintain personal grooming and cleanliness standards
What You Will Bring :
minimum 3 years of experience in pastry or bakery in a kitchen
Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
Strong willingness to learn and take direction
Good communication and teamwork skills
Creativity and interest in incorporating Japanese ingredients or influences
Attention to detail and consistency
Culinary education or pastry training is a plus
