Job summary

EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA) is seeking a qualified individual to oversee the operation of the Paste Plant Lines at Al Taweelah. The role includes ensuring the timely supply of materials, maintaining safety standards, and managing production efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree or diploma in engineering with substantial experience in aluminium smelting processes. Strong knowledge of mechanised manufacturing and ISO standards is essential. The position demands leadership in enhancing safety, efficiency, and quality control across operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with 5 years of experience in a similar position or Diploma holder with 10 years.
• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment, preferably in Aluminium Smelting.
• Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of Paste Plant Line 1, Line 2, and Line 3.
• Ensure environmental health and safety compliance.
• Establish systems for understanding customer requirements.
• Define and control inventory levels of green anodes.
• Implement quality control systems and conduct regular meetings.

Skills
