Job summary

EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA) is seeking a qualified engineer to coordinate with the Control Room Engineer for power generation and steam production at the Jebel Ali site. The role involves operating plant equipment, observing parameters, and maintaining efficient generation and distribution of electricity.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in relevant engineering fields and at least 5 years of experience in the power or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and Visual Basic, is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of working experience in the Power or Manufacturing industry.
• Skills in monitoring control equipment and performing routine calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Control Room Engineer and monitor control equipment.
• Operate the plant to ensure electrical power is generated efficiently.
• Report alarms and ensure operational routines are executed promptly.

Skills

Proficiency in computer applications

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Visual Basic programming

Education

Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering field
