Job summary

IFRC in the UAE seeks a Senior Partnerships and Resource Mobilization professional to strengthen visibility, partnerships, and influence among governments, foundations, and private sector actors in the UAE, Bahrain and Oman.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10+ years in humanitarian partnerships, with strong networking, negotiation and diplomatic skills. You will coordinate with National Societies and regional offices to secure multi-year funding and align with Strategy 2030.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, or other relevant fields.
• Min. 10 years of professional experience in humanitarian partnerships and resource development.
• Experience in raising funds for emergencies.
• Experience in developing partnerships with private and public sector partners.
• Experience in development of Partnership and Resource Development strategies, market research and/or market analysis, benchmarking, risk assessment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic desired.

Responsibilities

• Represent IFRC in engagement with governments, public institutions, and private sector actors in the UAE, Bahrain and Oman in close cooperation with National Societies of those countries.
• Lead strategic outreach, dialogue, consultations, and high-level meetings to influence government priorities, policies, and funding allocations.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with public and private sector partners, including multi-year funding and MOUs.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of the UAE GCC engagement strategy and regional partnership plan with focus on UAE, Bahrain and Oman.
• Provide strategic guidance to Regional Offices and technical teams on engagement with partner portfolios and ensure coherent reporting.
