About the team:

As a Partner Manager for the Middle East & North Africa (MEA) region, you will have the unique opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with strategic partners in the MEA payments market. These partnerships will help to shape the strategy of our Go-To-Market team and measurably impact the growth of the company. You will focus on our most valuable ecosystems in the region, creating and executing on our partner strategy. These partnerships will be vital in unlocking new addressable market in Worldpay's strategically aligned verticals. Working alongside colleagues in the team across MEA, you will work to refine and improve our partner strategy and execution.

What you'll own:

  • Define the vision, main strategic objectives, and the overall partner development program for Worldpay in the MEA region.
  • Responsible for building new partnerships to unlock new areas of addressable market and maximize mutual business revenues.
  • Identify and develop key local partnership alliances designed to produce sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong network in the MEA payment ecosystem.
  • Build leadership alignment at the highest levels with the partners, both at a global as well as at regional level.
  • Work closely with MEA and European commercial teams, marketing, professional services, local alliances, and program management partner teams, legal, finance, and other staff to execute defined sales strategies and overall partner business relationship strategies.

What you bring:
  • UAE based experience, preferably in the payments industry.
  • Preferably bilingual (Arabic & English).
  • A strong understanding of how companies like Worldpay drive value through partner referral networks.
  • An understanding of the MEA payments industry and its broader role in the merchant value chain.
  • A strong understanding of the Fintech ecosystem and proven track record in partner/channel environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex technical detail and aggregate key points in a direct, impactful manner for non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of various operating models around merchant or partner introduction, onboarding, compliance, and contracts.

Added bonus if you have:
  • General understanding of cross-border payments and the players in this space.
  • Knowledge of international and local card schemes and alternative payment methods.
  • In-depth experience working with payment providers.
  • Established relationships with main payments ecosystem players and partners.
