Define the vision, main strategic objectives, and the overall partner development program for Worldpay in the MEA region.
- Responsible for building new partnerships to unlock new areas of the addressable market and maximize mutual business revenues.
- Identify and develop key local partnership alliances designed to produce sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network within the MEA payment ecosystem.
- Establish leadership alignment at the highest levels with partners, both globally and regionally.
- Collaborate closely with MEA and European commercial teams, marketing, professional services, local alliances, program management, legal, finance, and other staff to execute sales strategies and partner relationship strategies.
What you bring:
- UAE-based experience, preferably in the payments industry.
- Preferably bilingual (Arabic & English).
- A strong understanding of how companies like Worldpay drive value through partner referral networks.
- An understanding of the MEA payments industry and its broader role in the merchant value chain.
- A strong understanding of the Fintech ecosystem.
- Proven track record in partner/channel environments.
- Ability to work effectively in complex technical environments and communicate key points to both technical and executive audiences.
- Deep knowledge of operating models around merchant or partner onboarding, compliance, and contracts.
