Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal/Corporate Secretary to join our legal team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will provide comprehensive paralegal support and manage corporate secretarial duties for our organization.

  • Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management
  • Manage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and regulatory filings
  • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and corporate records
  • Ensure compliance with local and international corporate laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather information for legal proceedings and corporate matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records and minute books
  • Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
  • Liaise with government authorities, external counsel, and other stakeholders as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling, filing, and document management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Law, or a related field
  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate law
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate law and regulations with a focus on UAE legal framework
  • Proven experience in corporate secretarial duties
  • Strong proficiency in legal research and document preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a must
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
