Job summary

OT Cybersecurity Specialised Services in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior OT/ICS Cybersecurity Specialist with extensive Oil & Gas process control experience to secure OT/ICS environments and support cybersecurity projects across DCS, PLC, HMI, and industrial networks.

The role requires 15+ years in information security with 10+ in OT/ICS, strong engineering systems knowledge, and familiarity with standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST. Travel to site locations in Abu Dhabi may be needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
15+ years of Information Security/Cybersecurity experience, including 10+ years in Oil & Gas OT/ICS cybersecurity.
Strong experience with DCS/PLC systems and OT environments.
Knowledge of Modbus, Vnet, OPC, TCP/IP, UDP, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC UA, and PROFINET.

Responsibilities

Lead and support OT/ICS cybersecurity projects across Oil & Gas facilities.
Design, assess, harden, and secure DCS, PLC, HMI, Engineering Workstations, servers, and OT networks.
Perform OT vulnerability, threat, and risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
Support cybersecurity activities during FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site implementation.
Analyze OT network traffic and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols.
Work with multiple ICs DCS/PLC OEM platforms and coordinate with vendors and project teams.
Ensure solutions align with applicable OT/IT cybersecurity standards and best practices.
