Job summary

Julphar is seeking a Sr. Specialist/Team Leader to oversee OSD production and packaging at our Ras Al Khaimah facility. You will direct cross-functional teams, ensure GMP compliance and optimize operations to meet targets while maintaining quality.

The role requires 6–10 years in OSD manufacturing with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity, strong leadership, and excellent documentation and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: B. Pharm / M. Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience: 6-10 years in OSD pharma manufacturing with 2-3 years in supervision.
• Strong GMP/regulatory knowledge, safety and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage OSD production/packaging processes including granulation, compression, coating, and packaging.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and optimize output while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with supply chain, planning and warehouse teams for material availability.
• Troubleshoot production/packaging issues and implement CAPA.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA and other standards.
• Collaborate with QA for in-process quality checks and handle deviations/change controls.
• Maintain proper documentation per regulatory and company standards.
• Supervise, mentor and train operators, technicians, and junior staff.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement; identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of production equipment; work with engineering/maintenance as needed.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and customer audits; ensure completion of BMR, SOPs, and validation protocols.
