Job summary

GAL is seeking an Application Support (Finance) specialist to provide functional support, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Oracle Finance and Project modules in Oracle EBS R12. You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure system stability and effective issue resolution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in Finance and Project modules, with strong Oracle EBS R12 expertise and SQL/PLSQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of functional configuration experience in Finance and Project modules.
• Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12 solution design, implementation, support, and system configuration.
• Experience implementing and deploying ERP related to Finance and Projects.
• Experience in business-process design, documentation, UAT, data conversion, migration, and interfaces.
• Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders, end users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Aviation industry experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and resolution for Oracle Finance and Project modules within Oracle EBS R12.
• Analyze issues with end users and identify root causes and fixes.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or higher support levels.
• Configure and support system enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
• Conduct process-design workshops and identify gaps between current and future processes.
