Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking a skilled operator to ensure safe and smooth operation of entry-end equipment and to follow procedures to meet production targets.

You will perform pre-operation checks, enforce safety protocols during coil handling, and inspect coated coils for quality while maintaining accurate production records. Collaboration with coating, entry, and maintenance teams is essential for smooth line operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and smooth operation of all entry-end equipment including uncoiler, stitching and tension
• Follow established operating procedures to ensure production targets are met
• Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure machinery is in good working condition
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during coil handling, cutting, and changeovers
• Inspect coated coils for surface defects, gloss level, color shade, and edge quality
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including output quantities and machine performance data
• Communicate effectively with coating, entry, and maintenance teams for smooth line operation
• Lead shift handover meetings with proper documentation
• Respond quickly to line stoppages or mechanical/electrical issues at exit/entry section
