Job description

Our client is a market leader in the weighing scales industry, operational since 1918 in India, further to which they have established themselves within the Middle East region and headquartered in Dubai.

They are currently hiring for a Senior Operations Executive - Stores & Logistics to oversee and manage daily operations of stores, dispatch, and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials to customers, efficient stock control, accurate documentation, and coordination with the Purchase team using ZOHO ERP.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stores & Inventory Management
    • Ensure accurate inventory records and stock audits.
    • Maintain proper inward/outward material entry in ZOHO ERP.
    • Organize material storage as per FIFO and tagging standards.
    • Monitor daily stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requests.
    • Coordinate with internal departments for material movement.
  2. Logistics & Dispatch Planning
    • Plan daily material dispatches based on customer delivery schedules.
    • Allocate delivery routes to in-house drivers (2 tempos) efficiently.
    • Ensure timely deliveries with proper documentation (challan, invoice, etc.).
    • Monitor vehicle movement and coordinate with service teams when needed.
  3. Packaging Supervision
    • Manage packaging staff to ensure quality and timely packing.
    • Ensure packaging standards to prevent transit damage.
    • Allocate packaging tasks as per dispatch priorities.
  4. ERP & Documentation
    • Perform all operations entries in ZOHO ERP: GRN, dispatch, stock updates, requisitions.
    • Maintain dispatch register, inward register, and gate pass records.
    • Ensure physical and system stock reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  5. Coordination & Reporting
    • Raise purchase requisitions for material shortfalls.
    • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, and Purchase teams.
    • Prepare and share daily MIS on stock and dispatch status.
    • Managing 3rd party vehicles.

Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Graduate in Logistics / Operations / Supply Chain
  2. 3 to 5 years experience in logistics/store operations in a manufacturing or trading company
  3. Working knowledge of ZOHO ERP (or equivalent) is essential
  4. Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  5. Proficient in MS Excel and documentation
Remuneration

Salary: Based on experience or market standard

Other benefits as per company policy (fuel, allowances, leave, etc.)

Working Days & Hours

Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Days: 2 Saturdays off and 2 Saturdays are working
