The Opportunity

The Senior Operations Executive will play a key role in managing and supporting outsourced warehouse operations. This position focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with the logistics team to address operational challenges. The role involves monitoring the performance of the third-party warehouse provider, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the overall optimization of warehouse processes.

What you will be doing

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

• Assist in overseeing outsourced warehouse operations, ensuring timely processing of orders, inventory management, and deliveries.
• Work closely with the logistics team to monitor and assess the performance of the third-party warehouse provider.
• Support inventory management, including coordinating with the outsourced team to conduct audits and ensure stock accuracy.
• Assist in the analysis of warehouse performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain communication with the external warehouse provider to resolve operational issues, including inventory discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Contribute to resolving day-to-day operational challenges in the warehouse and logistics process.
• Support coordination between the logistics team and the outsourced warehouse team to ensure alignment on objectives and expectations.
• Help ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Delivery & Distribution Coordination

• Aid in managing transportation and distribution processes between the warehouse and stores/customers.
• Handle delivery follow-ups for failed or delayed shipments.
• Call customers to confirm COD orders and reschedule deliveries.
• Manage delivery and returns by coordinating with couriers and customers.
• Maintain a high delivery success rate by proactively managing issues.
• Coordinate with 3PL.

Customer Communication & Support

• Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve delivery issues.
• Update and monitor shipment statuses on TMS.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Help prepare operational performance reports for the logistics team and senior management.
• Record and report daily delivery performance and unresolved cases.

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain, ideally with experience working with outsourced partners.
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with internal teams and third-party providers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards related to warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is a plus.
• Familiar with working on OMS
• Experience in e-commerce logistics operations
