Job summary

Anotech is seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Designer to develop 3D models and drawings for offshore oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will use SmartPlant 3D and related tools to model jackets, topsides, platforms, and supports, and review vendor drawings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 15+ years of offshore structural design experience and proficiency in S3D, SmartSketch, E3D, PDMS, and AutoCAD, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years offshore structural design experience in oil and gas.
• Proficient in SmartPlant 3D (S3D) and SmartSketch.
• Experience with E3D, PDMS, AutoCAD and other structural design software.
• Strong knowledge of offshore structural modelling, drawing production, and material take-offs.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Develop 3D structural models and engineering drawings using SmartPlant 3D (S3D) and SmartSketch.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and material requisitions.
• Perform 3D model reviews and clash detection.
• Model and detail offshore structures such as jackets, topsides, platforms, helidecks, bridges, and equipment supports.
• Review vendor drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
