Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its UAE operations to lead and coordinate process engineering activities on large-scale upstream offshore oil and gas projects. The role emphasizes FEED through start-up, with extensive offshore experience and PMC background.

The position requires delivering process deliverables, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with international standards. It is a full-time, on-site UAE-based role in Dubai with global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or process engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas.
• Predominant experience in upstream offshore oil & gas projects.
• Experience as a Senior Process Engineer on major EPC/EPCM/PMC projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate process engineering activities for upstream offshore oil & gas projects.
• Develop and review process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, process design basis, heat and material balances, process datasheets, and utility summaries.
• Support process safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA) and review vendor documents.
• Interface with multiple engineering disciplines and participate in design reviews and client meetings.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up phases.
