Job summary

Penspen is urgently hiring a Senior Supervisor Mechanical for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role entails planning, coordinating and supervising all mechanical maintenance activities on offshore facilities to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering with extensive offshore experience, including major shutdowns, and be able to lead maintenance teams while maintaining compliance with HSE policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical) from accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years offshore project experience.
• Experience in offshore production platforms and major shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute mechanical maintenance activities on offshore facilities.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of mechanical equipment in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead maintenance teams, contractors, and technicians.
• Plan preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Monitor KPIs and equipment performance trends.
• Review maintenance work orders and job plans.
• Participate in offshore shutdown planning.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure on-schedule completion.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and offshore regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Support Reliability-Centered Maintenance initiatives.
• Perform RCFA.
• Recommend equipment improvements and modifications.
• Review maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
