Job summary

Penspen is urgently hiring a Senior Supervisor Mechanical for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on planning and supervising mechanical maintenance of offshore facilities, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with company standards and offshore regulations.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience, includes substantial offshore exposure, and proven leadership of maintenance teams and shutdowns. ADNOC Offshore exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical) or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in offshore projects.
• Experience on offshore production platforms and major shutdowns/turnarounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise and execute all mechanical maintenance activities offshore.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead maintenance teams, contractors and technicians; review work orders and plans.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment; monitor progress and KPIs.
• Participate in offshore shutdown planning and RCM initiatives; RCFA when needed.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical) or equivalent from accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all mechanical maintenance activities on offshore production facilities, platforms or offshore support facilities.
• Ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical equipment while maintaining compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance teams, contractors, and technicians.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure equipment reliability and availability to meet production targets.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and equipment performance trends.
• Review and approve maintenance work orders and job plans
• Participate in offshore shutdown planning.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion within schedule.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and offshore regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Recommend equipment improvements and modifications.
• Review maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore project.
• Proven experience inOffshore production platform experience.
• Experience in major shutdowns and turnaround projects.
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
