Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Offshore Marine Specialist to ensure safe, efficient and compliant marine operations across offshore oil & gas, renewables, and subsea projects. The role requires leadership in vessel operations, logistics, and regulatory compliance, with a site offshore 6/3 rotation.

The ideal candidate has 17+ years in marine roles, relevant STCW and survival certifications, and strong DP and risk-management expertise for complex offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related discipline.
• Official competency certificates such as Master Mariner or Chief Officer preferred.
• Offshore survival certifications (BOSIET, HUET) and valid STCW credentials.
• Minimum 17 years of marine industry experience and offshore operations.
• Experience with OSVs, AHTS, construction vessels or drilling units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise offshore marine activities including vessel movements and cargo transport.
• Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code and local regs.
• Liaise with vessel masters, charterers, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor vessel performance, utilization, and readiness; support mobilizations/demobilizations.
• Prepare marine operation reports and incident documentation.
