Senior Officer, Procurement (Emirati Talent)

Job Purpose:

Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic procurement officer to manage the bank's supply of products and services. Will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services in line with the bank's policies and standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Develop, lead and execute sourcing strategies.
2. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
3. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
4. Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
5. Assess and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.
6. Seek and partner with reliable vendors.
7. Determine quality, quantity and timing of deliveries.
8. Monitor and enforce compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
9. Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors.
10. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery and invoices.

Job Requirements (Qualification / Experience):

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
2. Additional Certifications - CIPS.
3. 5 years experience in procurement.
4. Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
