Job Responsibilities

The jobholder is responsible for processing a subsection of operations within a specific product or functional area, ensuring quality and timely delivery in a cost-efficient and error-free manner, subject to high risk management and compliance standards. S/he is expected to support the unit in:

  • Ensuring efficient, error-free processing of transactions with strict compliance to policies and within the agreed SLAs.
  • Minimizing operational risks for the Bank by ensuring all processed transactions fully comply with customer and internal instructions.
  • Ensuring conformance to internal procedures, policies, guidelines, and applicable norms and regulations.
  • Performing monthly reconciliations and follow-ups on outstanding items.
  • Undertaking all daily processing activities related to a specific product or sub-function in the Payment Center.
  • Supporting departments by providing appropriate delivery and support functions.
  • Managing records (hard copy, soft copy, scanned) and archival as per guidelines; acting as the primary custodian of security items and customer records.
  • Participating actively in various initiatives within the section, unit, and the Bank as required.
  • Engaging in any other activities falling within the scope of a Processor.
  • Providing periodic reports and management information for effective decision-making, ensuring adherence to external, regulatory, and international norms.
  • Maintaining high standards of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is controlled and consistent. Demonstrate compliance with organizational values and ethics to support a value-driven culture within the bank.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.

Reporting

Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports to meet departmental requirements, policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Experience: 13 years relevant experience in the banking sector, with at least 1 year in similar managerial roles within the payment function.
