Job description

The role is responsible for encoding and releasing credit limits related to credit facilities and ensuring accurate details before inputting into the bank's system. The role also involves ensuring compliance with approval terms for FAB Head Office representative offices and international branches, in accordance with approval conditions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Generic Accountability

  • Encoding and authorizing credit limits for credit facilities, ensuring accuracy before inputting into the bank's system.
  • Maintaining accuracy in applying interest rates, commission charges, and management fees.
  • Processing and authorizing daily transactions such as loan drawdowns, payments, discounting, and overdraft adjustments based on daily shares valuation reports.
  • Performing monthly activities including reviewing limits in GLCMS, amending interest rates for overdraft pricing linked to fixed deposits, and managing loan installment deferrals or maturity extensions.
  • Coordinating with FINCON for account provisioning, customer grade changes, interest suspension, and write-off entries.
  • Issuing instructions and documents such as IOMs, liability letters, and managing limits and interest rates in the system.
  • Preparing monthly activity reports and analyzing various reports for management.

Job Specific Accountabilities / KPIs

Internal:

  • Risk Management, Unit Operations, Treasury, Islamic Banking, SME & Personal Banking, Trade Finance, Relationship Managers, Credit Mid Office, IT, CCS, Legal Department.

External:

  • Insurance companies, FAB Brokers, and Real Estate Companies.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance, with at least 3 years of experience in SME & Personal Banking, including in the Corporate / CAD function.

Minimum Experience

  • Proficiency in banking software systems, basic PC skills, and MS Office applications.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of bank financial systems and banking products, especially in SME & Personal Banking Credit Administration.
  • Understanding of U.A.E. legal environment and Central Bank regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and team collaboration skills.
