Job description
JOB PURPOSE

To execute and assist in organizing local and international events and trade shows of Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), including arranging logistics, inviting attendees, collecting feedback, and distributing corporate gifts. The purpose is to ensure all public relations activities are conducted professionally, efficiently, and in support of the desired image and brand of EGA.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Policies, Processes & Procedures
  • Guided to implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures.
Day-to-Day Operations
  • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned to the Public Relations department to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure continuity of work and delivery of effective, high-quality outputs.
  • Report regularly to the senior executive on operational activities, challenges, issues faced, and mitigation actions taken, keeping them informed and updated.
PR Planning
  • Support the implementation of the annual events calendar for EGA, in coordination with the senior executive and line manager, to help execute scheduled events systematically.
PR Logistics
  • Handle the arrangement of logistics, passes, catering, and invitations for all PR activities to ensure they are conducted efficiently, professionally, and successfully.
PR Materials
  • Support the preparation and timely distribution of presentation materials, brochures, and messages for exhibitions, conferences, and other PR activities, in coordination with the Communications and Branding department.
Coordination
  • Assist in coordinating with internal functions (Security, HR, Branding, Communications) and third-party contractors as required.
  • Obtain necessary event permits and approvals for local and international events to ensure activities run smoothly.
Safety, Quality & Environment
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures.
Related Assignments
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING
  • Work is guided by established procedures, standards, and precedents.
  • Tasks are generally supervised, with managerial control and review of results.
  • Decisions are typically covered by clear precedents and operational guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Event Management, or a related specialization.

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in public relations.
