Job summary

WhiteCrow is recruiting for a Senior Officer - Events & Entertainment in Dubai to manage opening/closing procedures, coordinate rehearsals and performances, and ensure show quality and safety across venues. You will support documentation, communicate across departments, and serve as the primary contact for entertainers and guests.

The role requires 3-5 years in theme parks or professional theatre, a Bachelor or Theatre Degree or equivalent, and strong event coordination skills in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Education and theatre/event experience preferred.
• Bachelor or theatre degree required.
• 1-2 years in theme parks or theatre.
• 3-5 years minimum experience in theme parks or theatre.

Responsibilities

• Opening/closing venue, signing in/out cast and crew, monitoring rehearsals, performances and SOP compliance.
• Coordinating production plans and directing activities of performers and stage crew during rehearsals and shows.
• Supporting supervision with event documentation and status reports.
• Monitoring on-stage and backstage areas for show quality and safety.
• Communicating information across departments.
• Addressing guest situations professionally as first point of contact.
• Maintaining confidential information.
• Implementing and updating policies and processes for continuous improvement.
• Maintaining electronic systems to improve processes.
• Liaising with internal and external clients professionally.
• Acting as main contact for venues and performers during shows and events.
• Ensuring entertainment elements comply with Motiongate regulations.

As a Senior Officer - Events & Entertainment, you will be responsible for...

• Performing the duties of opening and/or closing the venue or area, including signing in/out cast and crew and monitoring start-up/shut-down procedures. Monitoring all rehearsals, performances, and backstage areas for show quality, safety, and SOP compliance.
• Coordinating production plans and directing the activities of performers and stage crew during rehearsals and performances.
• Supporting the Supervisor in event documentation, including nightly FYIs and status reports.
• Monitoring performances on stage, backstage, and in green rooms for show quality, safety, and SOP compliance.
• Communicating pertinent information across and within departments.
• Acting as the first point of contact for addressing guest situations in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintaining confidential information.
• Executing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes for the respective function/department and ensuring that existing ones are reviewed and updated as part of the continuous process improvement initiative.
• Maintaining relevant electronic systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.
• Interfacing with DPR's internal and external clients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Acting as the main contact for entertainment venues and performers during shows and events while relaying information to resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitoring event logistics to ensure that all entertainment elements comply with the rules and regulations established by the Motiongate Entertainment Department.

What you already have...

• High School Diploma – Event/theatrical/theme park experience preferred.
• Bachelor or Theatre Degree
• 1 - 2 year experience in theme parks and/or professional theatre
• 3 - 5 years minimum experience in theme parks and/or a professional theatre
