    GROUP FUNCTION AND BUSINESS AREA PURPOSE

    The Consumer & Private Banking Operations is an organization that enables business growth of First Abu Dhabi Bank’s SME & Personal Banking Business, meets the service aspirations of all our customers and remains an independent assurance provider of quality through the possession of sound credit risk, product and market knowledge.

    ROLE PURPOSE

    The role is responsible for encoding and releasing of credit limits relating to credit facilities and ensuring accurate detailing before inputting the same into Bank’s system. Further, he/she is responsible for complying with all necessary approval terms and conditions under FAB policies and procedures.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Verification and validation of genuineness of the credit documents and customer data.
    • Check if applications are complete with all required documents on DMS
    • Update the Share point tracker and CAS incase of reversals
    • Follow the internal CAD Checklist for processing the cases
    • Update the CAS as per the script agreed and push the case to Checker as per agreed TAT/cut-off times, after marking status “Sent” in Share point tracker
    • Maintain records related to Admin functions such as; inward/outward mail statements, acknowledgements and other important correspondence.
    • Preparation of mail statements for all outward mail sent to Branches through HO Mail Room.
    • Collaborate with sourcing channel if rectification of the applications is required.
    • Execute any special tasks assigned by management from time to time.
    • Act as a backup during the absence of other staff and as and when necessary
    • Maintain professionalism and effective communication with colleagues within the Unit and all other Departments
    • Adhere to your individual duties and responsibilities at all times.
    • Extend Full Corporation to new staff in their training to familiarize themselves with the job.
    • Manage daily assigned tasks without compromising on the risk and service.
    • Ensure that Mandate Files are indexed accurately, received securities are complete and there is no left over documents.
    • Ensure that at the end-of-the Day left over Documents for scanning / indexing are kept overnight in the safe under dual custody.
    • Knowledge & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Finance. 2-4 years’ experience in SME & Personal Banking with at least 2 years’ experience in the SME & Personal Banking CAD function.

      Skills:

      • Knowledge and use of banking software systems, basic PC skills and common MS applications like Excel and Word.
      • Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken).
      • Good knowledge of Bank's financial system.
      • Very good knowledge of Banking Products / SME & Personal Banking Credit Administration functions.
      • Good knowledge of U.A.E. legal environment & Central Bank regulations.
      • Team worker, ability to work under pressure, fast learner, attention to details.
