JOB PURPOSE:

This role involves processing various loan categories and related transactions:

  • Conventional corporate loans such as Syndicated and Bilateral.
  • Islamic facilities including Murabaha and Ijarah.

Responsibilities include disbursing loans and managing amendments like pricing, tenor, repayment schedules, rollovers, settlements, and recoveries of past dues.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Input and process new loans and related activities (settlements, pricing changes, repayment updates) received from CAD in the Core banking system.
  • Book fees and transfer funds within the system.
  • Block/unblock accounts as needed.
  • Maintain transaction diaries.
  • Provide remittance instructions for syndicated loans to Payment Centre.
  • Perform internal account reconciliations and follow up on pending dues.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant transaction processing within policies, SOPs, SLAs, and DOA.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Handle internal stakeholder queries related to loans.
  • Minimize operational risks by ensuring transactions adhere to instructions.
  • Follow internal procedures, policies, guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage daily processing activities for assigned products or functions.
  • Contribute to departmental and organizational initiatives.
  • Perform any other activities within the scope of a Processor role.
  • Provide periodic reports and management information for decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 4 years in progressively responsible roles in corporate loan processing.
