Job description

Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate needs to have good experience in hospital-based adult care at a reputed hospital with a proven track record in inpatient, outpatient, and postoperative rehabilitation.

This role focuses on enhancing patients' recovery, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional, physical, and cognitive abilities.
  2. Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and postoperative settings.
  3. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and overall function.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to deliver coordinated care.
  5. Assist in discharge planning and provide guidance for home-based care and follow-up rehabilitation.
  6. Document patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  7. Mentor and guide junior therapists and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  2. 10 Years Experience in the same capacity

DHA License

  1. Should be eligible to get DHA License.
  2. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations.
  4. Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
