Job summary

Revolut Ltd in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Observability Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale a global observability platform that monitors thousands of applications, databases and services. You will deliver APIs, data pipelines and tooling to support product teams in monitoring, alerting and debugging.

This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, optimizing performance and cost, and contributing to the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a software engineer with 3+ years in observability platforms or distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting and incident response best practices.
Experience designing APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput data ingestion.
Hands-on with core observability tools and container orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and scale observability solutions across logs, metrics and traces.
Build robust APIs and pipelines to ingest, process and expose observability data.
Collaborate with product teams to meet monitoring, alerting and debugging needs.
Optimise infrastructure for performance, cost and user experience.
Develop tooling to automate onboarding and sunsetting of components.
