Job summary

Egis seeks an experienced Regulatory and Licensing Lead to join its nuclear project team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will serve as the primary contact for regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with UAE nuclear regulations and IAEA standards, and lead licensing processes with FANR and stakeholders.

You will develop regulatory strategies, manage submissions, assess risks, and coordinate across internal teams to deliver compliant project milestones in a complex, international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in nuclear regulatory affairs, licensing, or compliance.
• Expertise in nuclear industry regulations and IAEA standards.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC regulatory frameworks and licensing.
• Experience managing complex regulatory submissions and licensing apps.
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Project management skills to handle multiple regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regulatory and licensing strategies aligned with UAE requirements and IAEA standards.
• Manage licensing processes, including applications and regulatory communications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and regulators to implement controls.
• Prepare regulatory reports and licensing submissions with accuracy.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership.
• Lead regulatory audits and serve as liaison with FANR and others.
• Maintain organized regulatory records and documentation.
• Provide regulatory guidance to project teams for decision making.
