Job summary

Egis in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Regulatory and Licensing Lead for its nuclear project team. You will drive regulatory strategies, manage licensing submissions, and liaise with FANR and stakeholders to ensure compliance with UAE and international standards.

The role requires leading regulatory audits, preparing compliance documentation, and maintaining records while guiding project teams on regulatory matters and best practices for safe, compliant development.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in nuclear regulatory affairs, licensing, or compliance management.
• Expertise in nuclear industry regulations and international nuclear safety standards (IAEA).
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC nuclear regulatory frameworks and licensing processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex regulatory submissions and licensing applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple regulatory initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regulatory and licensing strategies aligned with UAE nuclear regulatory requirements and IAEA standards.
• Manage all aspects of the licensing process, including application preparation and communications with regulatory authorities.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks to ensure organizational compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify regulatory requirements and implement controls.
• Prepare detailed regulatory reports, compliance documentation, and licensing submissions with accuracy.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for compliance gaps.
• Monitor changes in nuclear regulations and provide timely leadership updates.
