The role requires extensive leadership, budgeting, and risk-management experience, with a focus on safety and international standards. A robust PM background and UAE regulatory familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive nuclear energy or large-scale infra project management experience.
• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is required.
• Solid knowledge of nuclear safety standards, IAEA regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management and cost control for complex programs.
• Proven leadership of large, diverse, cross-functional teams in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities with complex technical challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with government agencies and partners.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software platforms.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program strategies, timelines, and budgets for the nuclear project.
• Provide decisive leadership to engineers, contractors, and staff while upholding safety standards.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for optimal use of funds.
• Coordinate with government bodies and international partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks with detailed planning and proactive problem-solving.
• Monitor progress against milestones and adjust actions to maintain schedule and quality.
• Oversee procurement, contractor performance, and contract negotiations.
• Establish QA and safety management systems across all phases.
• Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to nuclear safety protocols.
