Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. You will provide comprehensive surgical and clinical care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.

The role involves performing elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures, contributing to teaching, research, and quality improvement while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Valid professional registration/license in the country of practice.
• Strong surgical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring neurosurgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures.
• Manage conditions involving the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.
• Contribute to teaching, training, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neuroradiologists, oncologists, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical governance activities.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and manage surgical complications.
