Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking a Specialist Neurosurgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The candidate will diagnose and surgically manage neurological conditions affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.

Key responsibilities include preoperative planning, operative procedures, postoperative care, emergencies, and collaboration with a broad medical team to optimize patient outcomes in a dynamic UAE setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in neurosurgery.
• Experience managing complex neurosurgical cases.
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
• Perform appropriate neurosurgical procedures based on patient needs.
• Manage conditions involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide comprehensive postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma cases when required.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, oncologists, and other specialists.
• Interpret relevant neurological imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical records.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, and recovery.
