Yokogawa UAE invites a seasoned Maintenance/Startup Engineer to support its control systems portfolio. You will ensure up-time and system performance according to contractual commitments, participate in FAT/SAT and commissioning, and may work on-site or off-shore with 24x7 on-call support.

The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, OEM collaboration, and leadership within the installed base, contributing to Yokogawa's global safety and reliability

Formación

• Degree in Engineering field with preference for Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical or Electronics
• 5–10 years experience in Maintenance/Startup of Control Systems (DCS/ESD/SCADA) in Oil/Gas or Petrochemicals
• Experience with OEMs is an added advantage; prior Yokogawa experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department commitments to customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining process uptime and system performance per contractual agreements.
• Participate in add-on/expansion service projects during Engineering, FAT, SAT and commissioning phases.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Yokogawa products; perform hardware and software upgrades.
• Contribute to TSD/RSD growth plans and identify opportunities to provide additional services in the installed base.
• Role may be on-site or off-shore; provide on-site leadership as required.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as per assignment.
• Support service department activities as directed by management.
• Direct on-site personnel in resolution of system problems and startup/commissioning efforts.
• Submit weekly reports to Service management on startup efforts and issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department (TSD) commitments to our customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring process up-time and system performance as per contractual agreement with the customer, as per assignment.
• Participate in add-on / expansion service projects (Non POC) during Engineering phase, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning phases as required.
• Need to carry out Preventive and corrective maintenance of the Yokogawa’s portfolio of products, carry out Hardware and software upgrades.
• Actively participate in Yokogawa’s TSD/RSD growth plans and identify opportunities to provide additional services in the installed base.
• Depending on business requirement, role can be on-shore or off-shore, short duration or long duration (e.g. resident site support engineer) and provide overall on-site leadership.
• 24 x 7 on call support, as per assignment.
• Support any and all the Service department related activities as assigned by Department Management &/or Reporting Manager.
• Directs the activities of other on-site Yokogawa personnel in the resolution of system problems and/or the startup and commissioning efforts.
• Submits weekly reports to Service management per need, e.g. regarding startup efforts, punch list items, assistance required from management and/or the resolution of system level problems.

Job Qualifications & Experience

• A Degree in Engineering Field preferably Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical; and Electronics.
• Preferably 5–10 years experience in the Maintenance/Startup of Control System / Experience in DCS/ESD/SCADA systems, particularly in Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals as well as field instruments.
• Experience working with OEMs will be an added advantage, particularly with prior Yokogawa experience.
