Job summary

A dynamic FinTech company in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer in Network and Security Operations. The ideal candidate will manage both cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring security and operational integrity. Responsibilities include overseeing the SOC partner operations and leading remediation planning for vulnerabilities. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with at least 5 years of experience in network and security operations, preferably within the FinTech or banking sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network and security operations.
• Prior experience in FinTech or banking industry environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure including servers, databases, and firewalls.
• Oversee and govern SOC partner operations.
• Analyze vulnerability assessments and lead remediation planning.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols

Firewalls

VPNs

Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Network monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG)

Proficiency in security monitoring platforms (e.g. QRadar, Splunk)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible)

Understanding of DevOps practices

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field
